POLICY & ADVOCACY

Teach Plus Comprehensive Campaign

Building a Statewide Advocacy Engine

Q. How can a comprehensive, multi-channel campaign elevate educator voices, advance complex policy priorities, and mobilize cross-sector stakeholders to drive systemic change in Pennsylvania’s education system?

A. By designing and leading a statewide Policy Fellowship and advocacy communications campaign that positioned educators as trusted policy experts across key priorities; including equitable funding, culturally responsive education, early childhood education, the science of reading, and teacher preparation. Through cohesive branding, strategic storytelling, and coordinated digital, print, and in-person engagement, the campaign integrated research, lived experience, and policy analysis to engage educators, policymakers, advocates, and business leaders statewide. This approach generated sustained visibility and influence, resulting in 70+ published op-eds and policy memos, 100+ media placements, and 200+ leadership and advocacy opportunities that strengthened legislative momentum and expanded cross-sector collaboration.
